In Oman, Zawya news agency reports that X2E wants to invest $1.6 billion over the next two years to build up camelina, canola and other cereal crop production irrigated with wastewater to build a supply chain for biodiesel and sustainable aviation fuel in the desert. Each piece of the supply chain will count on different investment vehicles funded by different investors with its own technology spread, from crop production and irrigation to seed processing and fuel production.
