In Pakistan, the Punjab Agriculture Secretary Dr. Ejz Muneer, Punjab Energy Department Chief Engineer Iftikhar Ahmad Randhawa, and Director Pareet Singh Badal of India-based Universal Biomass Energy signed an MOU for technical assistance in the construction of a 15MWe biomass electrical generation facility.
