In China, Ecns.cn reported that Petre, China’s first large-scale renewable energy hydrogen production project has recently been put into production at the Yumen Oilfield in northwest China’s Gansu Province. As of March 20, the volume of hydrogen sold to the public has exceeded 40,000 standard cubic meters, according to the report. The report noted the hydrogen production station consists of three sets of alkaline electrolysis tanks with a capacity of 1,000 standard cubic meters per hour, as well as a set of proton exchange membranes.
