In Los Angeles, a plant-based diaper made of bamboo viscose and charcoal has won the 2024 Baby Innovation Program Award in the Disposable Diaper Product of the Year category.
Produced by DYPER, the diapers offer maximum absorbency and leak protection while also preventing rash and irritation. DYPER Charcoal Enhanced diapers meet the standards of the highest independent environmental certifications, including USDA Certified 52% Biobased and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. They are also free of chlorine, rubber latex, alcohol, lotions, TBT, parabens, phthalates, dyes, prints, or fragrances, and can be composted using via DYPER’s circular REDYPER solution. After composting, the resulting nutrient-rich topsoil can be used in landscaping, growing sod, and roadside plantings.
