In Washington, POET says both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump know the value of ethanol and biofuel as the company has worked hard with both of them to understand the benefits. Despite Trump’s snafu last week with a fact sheet outlining the malfunctioning of RINs and the RFS and Clinton’s alleged fascination with California’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard, the company’s CEO remains confident both would support biofuels if elected to the White House come November.
