In Spain, El Periodico de la Energia reports Polestar has announced the integration of renewable fuels into its shipping routes, which account for three-quarters of the pure electric carmaker’s total emissions. With the increase in production of Polestar 3 and Polestar 4, the Scandinavian company will use renewable fuel for approximately seven out of ten maritime transport routes linking its distribution center in Zeebrugge (Belgium) with production plants in Asia. The company’s intentions are to integrate renewable fuels into the transportation of goods from North America during the second half of the year, as Polestar 3 production expands to South Carolina.
