#9 Sustainable kitty litter brand set to expand distribution

In Miami, a sustainable kitty litter firm has entered into a partnership that will get it distributed in more than 4,500 independent retailers in the United States.

Sustainably Yours, which produces kitty litter made from corn and cassava, says the distribution deal with Pet Food Experts is “the latest in a long list of accomplishments” since the product was launched just a few months ago.

Pedro Bastos, CEO at Petfive, the parent company of Sustainably Yours, says the litter is also flushable, low-dust, and fragrance free. A portion of the sales goes to the Rainforest Trust, a company that acquires acres threatened rainforests and has saved over 18 million acres since 2988.
