Public comment period extended on Clean Fuel Standard for Puget Sound

In Washington, the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency extended the public comment period to February 10^th (originally January 6^th) to provide more opportunities for input on their draft regional Clean Fuel Standard to help meet their target of 50% GHG pollution below 1990 levels by 2030.

The Clean Fuel Standard would apply to transportation fuels supplied or sold in the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency’s jurisdiction — King, Kitsap, Pierce, and Snohomish counties. The standard would reduce greenhouse gas pollution from transportation to address climate change and protect human health.
