In Illinois, local press reports that REG’s dreams of setting up direct retail sales of diesel are about to come true with the installation of a diesel fueling station at its Seneca biorefinery. With more than 17,000 trucks coming through the facility annually, the facility will have a ready market and will also be open to the public, offering prices competitive in the local area. Ideas for such the diesel fueling station date back to 2011 and should the station be successful, could potentially be rolled out at other sites.
