In South Dakota, the Argus Leader newspaper reports that following a two-day hearing last week, the Public Utilities Commission will decide at a later date whether to approve Navigator’s request to overturn county level restrictions on the proposed carbon dioxide pipeline that would cross the state and connect into four other Midwest states. The PUC has agreed to make its decision by September 6 but called on both Navigator and county lawyers to file briefs on the matter by Tuesday.
