In Greece, TEN Ltd. announced the delivery of six eco-friendly vessels since the start of 2024. The latest additions, including the Dual-Fuel LNG LR2 product tankers “Ithaki DF,” “Chios DF,” and “DF Montmartre,” signal the company’s commitment to green growth. This fleet expansion is complemented by the arrival of the 2023-built “DF Mystras,” the 2018-built scrubber-fitted 1A Ice Class Aframax “Alpes,” and the 2018-built Super Eco Suezmax “Poppy S,” delivered on May 14, 2024.
An additional vessel, the 2019-built “Aspen,” is set to join the fleet by the end of May, post-special survey. These ships, employed on time-charter contracts with profit-sharing provisions, are projected to generate over $200 million in gross revenues.
George Saroglou, President & COO of TEN, said: “These new acquisitions increase TEN’s cash generating prowess while further deepening its environmental footprint in the ever-evolving energy space.”
TEN’s green ship initiative continues robustly, with eight more vessels under construction, set to join the fleet from next year.
