In Thailand, Thaiger reported that Bangchak Corporation is focusing on the development of sustainable aviation fuel.
According to the report, the Bangkok-based company aims at setting up a SAF production facility near its oil refinery in the capital’s Phra Khanong district.
The construction of the plant is projected to be finished by the end of 2024. The company’s plans include starting the commercial operations of its production facility by 2025. The plant will have a production capacity of one million liters per day.
