The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy has been catalyzing a surge in reports and plans relating to accelerating the transition to biotechnology — including the Bold Goals launched at ABLC 2024, the PCAST Biomanufacturing to Advance the Bioeconomy report; the Vision, Needs, and Proposed Actions for Data for the Bioeconomy Initiative; a report on Building the Bioeconomy Workforce of the Future, plus RFI and Plain Language reports on Biotechnology Regulation and a lexicon for the Bioeconomy. Dr. Sarah Glaven, Principal Assistant Director for Biotechnology and Biomanufacturing, presented these slides at ABLC 2024 on the administration actions to date and goals for this year and beyond.
