David Vargas

Then: I was on my last year of university with bachelor of energy engineering, carrying out an industrial training in 150 MW carbon thermoelectric plant in Colombia.

Now: After ten years, I got an energy engineering Master, joining a place in a university. I have background in potential power generation using biomass and biogas and sustainable projects, climate change, bioeconomy life cicle analisis and energy efficency.

Inspirations: 1. biorefineries to replace derivated products from oil in chemical industry and transport. Biofuels, bioplastics, feeds, bioenergy, bioalcohols, bioacids, etc. 2. Reduce pullutant in water, air and soil.

Challenges:  Improvemnt yields for strains,  Technology transfer. Take advantage from waste to energy. (thermochemical and biochemical)
