Now: Retired from BLT in 2011. “2015 till today: Senior consultant for Bioenergy2020+; Austrian representative in the IEA Bioenergy Executive Committee on behalf of the Austrian Ministry for Traffic, Innovation and Technology; Editor of the “Biobased Future Newsletter”; strong efforts on national and international networking, eg in IEA Bioenergy Tssk 39 and in IEA AMF”

Inspirations: Bioeconomy will be the backbone of the global economy in and after 2050 and part of a Zero Carbon Future “The development of an environmental and social sound Bioeconomy is extremely complex and needs a long lasting and global approach.

Challenges: Time and money are the main challenges.  Most important today is to convince the general public and policy maker”
