Then: I was in a different industry then – publishing

Now: Our story is one of converting waste streams into clean, green electrons and providing a sustainable  waste disposal system via downdraft gasification. We take wood waste, rubber tires, and biosolids, and convert these into a combustible gas that runs a generator – so electricity from wood and rubber. I would like to see current and closed landfills harvested for recyclables. There’s money and jobs here check out.

Inspirations: Making profit with very little up front costs.

Challenges:  lack of leadership from the top down to make things happen. It’s great to have a zero landfill goal, but if you only give that last bit of waste to another vendor who eventually puts it in the landfill
