Then: It was the summer before I started my Chemical Engineering degree at the University of Texas at Austin. I was excited to get started with my degree.
Now: I am self-employed as an independent consultant working in several fields. One of which is municipal solid waste and using Anaerobic digestion to reduce waste sent to landfills.
Inspirations: I believe this is the next big step in our technological advancement as humans. There are a lot of opportunities to be had and it is just the beginning of a coming boom!
I think messaging is the most challenging part of the bioeconomy. These topics are not easy to grasp so they don’t disseminate out to the public efficiently. I believe that if more of the public knew about the progress which has been made and the roadmap to the future that we all see then massive public support would follow.
