#4 50 Hottest Companies in the Advanced Bioeconomy for 2020

Ah, January, back before we knew what 2020 had in store for us…we published the “50 Hottest Companies in the Advanced Bioeconomy”, as voted by invited international Selectors and subscribers of The Digest, the world’s most widely-read bioeconomy daily.

The Hot 50 winners were expected to join more than 250 other companies in the advanced bioeconomy for the gala Hot 50 Party, celebrating the 2020 honorees, at the Advanced Bioeconomy Leadership Conference at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington DC, on the evening of March 26th, 2020. Ah, the good ole’ days when we could gather, but we adapted and celebrated virtually on ABLC Digital online where we could stay a safe distance apart.

The theme for 2020 was undoubtedly international expansion — half of the Hot 50 this year are based outside of the United States or have significant international operations and plants.
