In Minnesota, a new study from the University of Minnesota shows that DDGS don’t contain high enough levels of antibiotics, used to reduce bacterial development to fermentation that can lead to production losses, to be of concern to livestock producers. Of the 117 samples collected from DGS and DDGS from around the country, only one had antibiotics levels high enough to inhibit E. coli growth.
