USDA to invest $400,000 to update GHG emissions model so ethanol is included in SAF subsidies

In Washington, Reuters reports that the Agriculture Secretary has confirmed the USDA will invest up to $400,000 to update the federal greenhouse gas emissions modeling to ensure corn-based ethanol is included as a feedstock pathway in future sustainable aviation fuel subsidies under the Inflation Reduction Act.
