LanzaTech, Purdue and PNNL are working together to develop a commercially viable process to convert an ethanol-derived olefin intermediate into a jet-range hydrocarbon with 60 wt.% yield to cycloalkanes and demonstrate its commercial utility as a jet blendstock via fuel property analysis, ASTM characterization, and techno-economic and life cycle analyses.
