In Chile, Mercopress reported that the World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors has approved a $150 million loan to support green hydrogen projects in Chile.
The project will mainly benefit local communities involved in the production and use of clean hydrogen, according to the report.
The initiative will be implemented by the Chilean Production Development Corporation (CORFO), which will establish a mixed financing fund dedicated to green hydrogen projects and develop risk mitigation instruments to improve financing conditions.
