Year-round E15 approval expected in March but implemented in 2025

In Washington, Reuters reports that the Secretary of Agriculture is confident that E15 will be available year-round nationwide by 2025 with administrative waivers allowing summertime E15 likely being issued in the meantime. Anonymous sources told Reuters that the request for year-round E15 from Midwestern governors back in 2022 would likely be approved by the end of March, but implementation would be delayed until next year. The secretary also indicated that the GREET decision regarding sustainable aviation fuel pathways would include climate smart agriculture and the range of feedstock production practices.
