#9 UAE films solutions company launches biobased option

In Brussels, Taghleef Industries will debut biobased film solutions at Labelexpo Europe 2019. Dubbed Nativia 813, the films are produced from polylactic acid, are biodegradable, and can run on reel-to-sheet offset printing machines with improved speed and ink adhesion.

Taghleef says the product meets growing demand for bioplastic containers that are compatible with I-IML mold labeling technology.

The company also will launch Shepe360 TDS label films that lower packaging weight and do not disupt the polyethylene terephthalate recycling chain. Taghleef is headquartered in Dubai.
